Scientific Historic

Tags: , , , ,

One of my new hobbies is finding and checking out old science and technology publications. Whenever I can I’ll snap a page and post it. This one, from a publication called ‘The Engineering News’ from 1944 is all about electrons. The writing style captures the awe and wonder felt by people in an age when science and technology could win or loose Allies their freedom. One section reads: Although one of the tiniest things in the universe, the electron is a gigantic force for the good of mankind. It is helping us to win the greatest war in history. I’ll post more science history pics when I find them.
