Dot Robot - Bacons College

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I want to be a pupil at Bacons College in Rotherhithe! What an awesome school. From the moment I arrived, the sense of fun and enthusiasm from teachers and pupils (and their ace librarian) hit me like a tractor beam. As with so many of the schools I’ve visited with Dot Robot, the children were mad for the tech and the reading. Thanks for having me (Robonova says ‘Hi!’)

Pictured with the kids, are some of the Dot Robot Roadshow robots: Rovio (Who I operate via the net with my iPhone), Robonova (who has just finished his Tai Chi routine) and Punk (from my book)

Thanks Jason for the Dot.Robot. I’ve just finished it. I’m 30 but (it may sound daft) it’s got me reading again which I have struggled with for many years so i’m truely grateful. It maybe sold as a childrens book but hey enough adults read Harry Potter! May all your success just go cosmic. Thanks for the book and the gadget show. Thank you for letting me say my bit.

The robots are a wonderful machine and it would be better that children begin to interact with them since childhood, this entuciasma to that in the future can create amazing things.

This awesome robot is a nice gift for enthusiasts like these kids. The inner “scientists” in them will be known because of the school’s active participation to “hitech” gadgets and more.

Just watched The Gadget Show, you were robbed on the Wall of Fame. Nintendo are going to hurt when the mainstream idiots move onto their next big thing. I do have a Wii though but it’s for proper games like Zelda and Metroid. Atari FTW
