As for tips on Asteroids - hmmm it’s a difficult one. I’m assuming you guys have all found the various keys - to, I dunno, perform an emergency space jump blah blah…

QUESTION TO Y’ALL
If I decided to hold an ‘Asteroids: Highest Score competition’ - how should I run it?
Also - what blogs/sites would be good to get the world out about it.
My basic idea is that I give away a cool gaming prize for the winner & a signed copy of my book. And maybe a couple more signed copies for runners up.

Jason, asteroids compo, you best bet would be to ask to post it on a few big boards. And yeah, i can give you the names of a few that would do it, but I have no chance of getting in the top 100 people, if only 50 enter XD.
And for the prize, I would say mabey a signed copy of your book, and mabey you could get Matt to make the person a custom wallpaper, that would get a LOT of people involved. I will try to find a few sites that will let you host the idea.
And another compo that would be great is highest score on the game Frantic, I have the link here, and it would be hosted on your website as another link like the asteroids one (That won’t work for me =(. My son James is 13 years old and a great fan of the show. Unfortunately he has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia and is spending most of the next 4-5 months in Manchester Childrens Hospital. We started watching the show again this week and hope to go to the next Gadget Show Live. Is there any chance of you being in this area at any time and calling into the hospital?
